  dear friends,.

  i have a question for you... the jws teach jesus is micheal the arc angel right?

  so here is my question...according to the jws..is jesus a god or a angel??

  so, i found out today that my whole family, that is mother, older brother wife and child, older sister and husband, younger brother and wife have gone away together for a week.. previously i would have been right in the center of all that.

  this time i didn't even know until after they'd gone.

  cant say it doesn't hurt, what a punch to the gut.

  Dear RR,

  I have no case...I am simply trying to look at the scripture from all angles, and yesterday I was reading here and there, different scriptures and came up with this question...NOT theory.

  That being said..John 1:1 says that the Word was with God correct? At that part of the text is the translation for God theos as well?? Just curious. Like I said I still have a lot of research yet to do..

  i was a pioneer for 7 years, before that i was a regular auxiliarry pioneer for 3 years, i have been a witness for 17 years.

  Dear Inactive,

  WELCOME to the forum!! I was unable to post until recently because my keyboard was on the fritz.. however I was able to read your post and everyones replys.

  I believe your story, as crazy as it seems, because my husband and I have been through the ringer with our old congregation ourselves. In March we will have been out for 3 years. My how time flys!

  My husband and I were sickened at how you and your family have been treated. I really found it suprising that some here were doubting just how cruel and unloving you were being treated within the congregation. As with most of us here, we have not been treated much better. We all know that each and every hall has their own quirky set of rules that are in place based on their own elder body. You can go to one hall and something is accepted, and go to another and it is a shunned and is a sin! So personally, we believe your story and our heart goes out to you and your family!

  Sadley and recently, the forum was dupped by someone who had the hearts of almost all here. Now many are reading with a sceptical eye. And it doesn't help that some JWs like Rosalee are here to stir it up and cause true JWDers to doubt you. It is clear she is deliberately trying to get you to feel badly about being here so you won't find friendship or support here. Too bad we some through her though!

  Here is a thread she posted..I suggest going through her comments and seeing how unkind yet JW typical she truely is!

You do not imitate Jesus in any manner, no matter what you say. Your actions have spoken otherwise.

  Funny how none of the JWs wanted to believe my story as to why I began questioning the organization. They wanted to blame it on my parents and their influence because they had left the organization 2 years before us. So I truely understand your frustration!!!! As bizarre as my story is, it is true. And I believe yours as bizzare as it is!!

  again it ran in the sunday edition - i hope that a few people might be 'forewarned' and thus 'forearmed' against the jw religion.

  perhaps a jw or two will read it also- here was the letter:.

  Dear friends,

  I have a question for you..

  The JWs teach Jesus is Micheal the Arc Angel right? Okay then, how do they explain John 1:1? Wether or not you believe Jesus was God or Jesus was A god, the fact of the matter is that the JWs acknowledge that that verse is identifying Jesus as a god. So here is my question...according to the JWs..is Jesus a god or a Angel?? You cannot be both can you??

  Second question...for those who do not believe in the Trinity...the Bible says there is only one true God..then does that make Jesus a false god?? Because John 1:1 definately says he is a god. The debate is wether he is THE God, or A god..still if he is not THE God..does that make him a false god??

  (Just to clarify..I a still out to lunch on the Trinity doctorine although there sure are an aweful lot of scriptures that seem to support it...and I do not believe Jesus is Micheal the Arc Angel....however, I am trying to look at all angles before I decide what I am going to believe).

  New Generation Understanding

  hello everyone, i am new here and newly freed from the snare of wtbs.

  my sister, also newly freed, said our mom told her at the annual meeting there was a new "understanding" on the generation confusion.

  it is now the annointed that will not pass away.. has anyone else heard this?

  WELCOME to the forum!!! Yes we have heard the same ting..the Generation teaching is going to change AGAIN!!! Seems the "Holy Spirit" has misdirected them again!! Ha Ha Ha what a joke! If Holy Spirit was really directing them they would not have gotten it wrong in the first place! By making the grandious claim they are spirit directed, they in turn are blaming God's spirit when they do flip flopping. To any true truthlover, it should not only be insulting, but infuriorating (spelling??)!
